Each mix is formulated to meet the exact nutritional requirements of your animals — accounting for species, life stage, production goals, and local forage quality. We adjust protein, fat, fiber, and mineral levels to ensure balanced performance and animal health.

All feeds are freshly milled on-site at Wirtes Grain in Lanesborough, Massachusetts. We use high quality ingredients sourced local or  regionally whenever it is possible, ensuring optimal grain freshness, consistency, and palatability in every batch.

We work directly with farmers to fine-tune mixes, review ingredient options, and help manage cost per ton. Whether you need a one-time batch or a long-term formulation, our team provides hands-on support from recipe development through delivery.
